top hats
OK please school me. I am going to take the high flow top hat out of my spinloc tank. I am going to replace it with Tony’s quick change top hat. Now I was going to take the high flow top hat and install it on the standard ss tank. Would it even matter because of the standard valve?

That standard tank? Is it from a Condor? If so, I believe it has a high flow valve stem that I think is identical th the high flow stem from the spin lock tank. Careful not to mix them up until you’re sure. However, what configuration was the standard tank from? A Condor with high flo tank sold new with a .177 barrel may have the same valve stem but a different valve seat spring inside the tank.

The standard tank was from an as. And the seating end is smaller than the high flow top hat. So it won’t fit. The new top hat from tony must be more efficient than the standard high flow valve from af. In the shroud forum had allot more noise when I installed the high flow condor tank on the 6″ shroud. I just Installed Tony’s quick change top hat and even on the pw at 10 and no inserts in the top and and it is more quiet. Lol it just raises more questions.
