Tophat Setting
I was doing some checking on my Condors Tophat to see the factory setting which is .097.I am currently shooting the Benjamin 14.3 grain pellets,does anyone know what the optimal tophat setting and powerwheel setting for this pellet would be?

there is so much to say, but most all is in this forum, but nick has it going on there for a base comparison, his top hat , and oring , with about a #3 or 4 on the power wheel should be great, just tighten the top hat for less velocity and loosen for more, you shouldnt need any more than a 2100 to 2400 fill for this,
for most , 800fps, to mid 900’s are best velocity for accuracy, if im hunting bigger critters i want 950’s , if im just plinking, 800’s is fine and probly most accurate with the 14 grian pellets. 🙂
Any advice we could give you, would only serve as a guideline for your own testing.
No two valves/hammer/powerwheel combos are going to perform exactly alike.
Testing is what makes you love these guns, or hate them.
They are not a lazy shooters rifle.
I’m not sure what caliber you’re shooting, I’m shooting 5mm CPH 14,3gr at 1050fps. My tophat setting is .080 with an o’ring under the tophat. What velocity are you aiming for?
Accuracy is fine, less than .390″ at 35yrds(5 shots).

One tiny bit of advice on velocity. As you cross the 900 fps barrier, and go faster, a LOT of pellets become unstable. particurally at extended ranges. You may have a bit more power, but, as a wise man once said, about accurate shooting. “You can’t miss fast enough to win in a Gun Fight. “.
