Trap Clean Out
I cleaned out my mulch trap today. I know I do a lot of testing to get the results I have but I was a little surprised myself.
Here is what I got out of it. Must be 30-40 lbs of lead. I will weigh it tomorrow after it dries.
I tried to float the rubber but it didn’t work that good. Guess I’m going to have to burn it out.

Try panning it out
I melted it down most of it and ended up with 28 lbs. I still have 8.5 lbs in a coffee can to melt. Was a real stinker burning off the rubber pieces.
One of these day I need to mine the 2o feet on each side of my 3×4 plate.

Another version would be a gold rocker box.
I might try one of my larger gold pans the next time I dump my rubber mulch trap.
Use a sluice box. The “nuggets” will stay in the box and the rubber will drain out.
Thats a bit o lead. LOL

Nice bunch of lead. Just ordered a Condor SS may take a while to shoot that much lead 🙂
If I do accumulate some lead i can put my old lee smelting pot to work
