Tri tail arrived, .25 stealth almost finished
Huge thanks to Pablouk for the tri rail, this will make the frame MUCH stronger and makes it look a lot more rebust and appealing.
Also, someone wanted to see what tank I was using so here are some pics of how it will look when finished. The 48CI tank will be angled for a good cheek weld and view through the scope
Oh and Pab, the valve stem was MUCH smaller than I expected, those walls are so thin it boggles the mind, I swear I could just crush it with my fingers.

It worked out very well just by luck really, because the large surface on the tophat that the breech pushes against is around 4mm and threaded collar protrudes into the breech cut out by about 3mm, with the valve fully open thereof still a 1mm gap between the breech and the collar. The actual valve tightens up against the back of the frame so it isn’t any further forwards than the original set up.

Dave seen your thread adapter for air bottle looks nice great Idea, I was curious did that change your top hat setting or put it back any farther 😉 Looks like your gaining on it should be a very nice gun when complete 😆

Unfortunatley I’m away all this coming week, all I need now is a new breech, new barrel bushes, the angled thread for the 48CI HPA tank and it’s ready to go.

Cheers Pab, yep day 3 of the week and I’m sitting in the mechanical engineering department 🙂
I’ve been on a few of the boats and seen a load of the engines etc, they even used to use a diesel 2 stroke at one time 🙂
I know I should be lathing but seeing how small that stem is, I will easily be able to knock out quite a few in a few hours. Not sure how I am going to hold the stem for drilling the ports because it is so stubby, another engineering challenge I’m going to have to solve.
