Q:

Trigger adjustment second stage length of pull for Cricket?

I can adjust the first stage length and pressure, but I can only adjust the second stage ounces of pressure, but not the length of pull.

I desire a shorter length of pull in the second stage to obtain an immediate crisp release when I press into the second stage.

Anyone know how?

By the way, the. 25 caliber synthetic is quieter than my. 22 Standard Edgun was. A bit heavier, but I like it a lot.

Congrats. We need a few pictures?

Thanks H 😯 😯 T for explanation. 💡

I have owned this model scope before, and found it to suit me quite nicely.

Of course I have owned several different types of scope since then, but never found one that was bright and clear enough to match the UTG Swat Compact scope. I tried higher power and lost clarity, decreased field of view, and dimmer target image. I tried fixed power but lost the ability to go to lower power when shooting snakes along my shoreline.

Eventually I settled in on the type of shooting I do most often, and that involves distances of 10 to 30 meters, mostly taking out pests in the yard.

The little UTG is light, short, and durable, just right for a bullpup. The power range of 3 to 12X suits my needs, and offers me the best image possible at the distances I shoot.

The key is to settle on how and what you shoot, then match the scope to those tasks. A variable high powered scope can many times be a bad choice, as that magnification increase is always accompanied by more scope weight and length. Unless you plan on long distance shooting on a regular basis, a smaller, lower powered scope can be a wise choice.

Congratulation HOOT to the new cricket 😉
Then tell me your opinion about leapers 3-12×44. How this sit on the cricket?

Here is how to adjust the first and second stage lengths of pull and lighten or stiffen the pull:

You have to read it carefully. His response, just below the post of the pictures, in a second post, explains what adjusts what. Essentially the second stage is a hex wrench (metric I believe) and the first stage is adjusted by turning the trigger rod and moving it’s spring.

The first stage is fine, length of pull and pull weight. But the second stage was adjusted so light it went off when trying to find the end of the first stage. That was quickly fixed with a clockwise turn of the proper hex bolt.

I put some blue Loctite on both afterwards, to hold them in place.

I put the sling stud on today, for my bipod. The synthetic stock is hollow in several places, and the forearm allows for a lock nut to be used with the sling stud. I was happy to see that.

Mounted the 3X12 – 42 scope on it. That needs to be sighted in. I’ve got a tac light to mount, but have to get a mount for it.

The .25 Cricket synthetic is not a light bullpup. Heavier than the Edgun, but I have the bipod, and a bit of weight, adds to stability. It’s not too heavy to tote around, but you would benefit from a single point sling, or some such aid.

The magazine is an interesting setup.

I have no chrony results yet, just trying to get everything in place.

Pics, results, and opinions to follow. No comlaints so far.

Where is the pics of the new rig?

I see you’ve got your Cricket. I had a feeling that you were going to like it. It’s a surgically-accurate target/hunting tool. It really is quiet to me too.

Sorry, I can’t help you adjust the trigger just yet as I haven’t fiddled with mine since I got it. How did you adjust the weight of pull? Which screw did you have to turn?

By the way, did you call Steve yet for the custom aluminum knob? The knob vanquishes the spring compression sound when you cock the gun.
