trigger group cover/trigger guard/rear grip alignment
i been having some trouble trying to figure out where exactly how the trigger group cover should align in a front to back fashion. if i let the front screw align the way it wants, it doesnt let the trigger fully depress, resulting in some delayed sear releases, resulting from the limited trigger rearward travel. if i kinda tap the piece back, the problem is solved, but the rear grip screw is at a strained angle threading into the retainer stud, and the front screw is under apparently undue tension. any ideas/ advice/ solutions? 😕 😕

Really no idea why yours doesn’t line up, but it only serves one purpose and that is to hold the springs down.
Elongate the trigger slot a little maybe.
Are the holes clean around the edges, no flashing/burrs? Maybe just flip the thing over and try that. Possibly the edges of the holes might give you better clearance in the trigger slot that way.
Of course if you see burrs or flashing that need cleaned up, do that first.
