trigger guard has arrived !

Finally have a picture of it, not that great of a picture kinda dark. It came last Monday and I brought it in before leaving for work. Put it on Tuesday morning and love it. Holding offhand standing the guard raises the gun enough I can keep my elbow tucked in without stooping. A lot more stable allowing the crosshairs to rest on target. The larger safety knob now makes it easy to release the safety with a tap of the trigger finger.

A suggestion for anyone installing one of these. Put the safety knob on before the new trigger guard. It should have been easy even with the guard on but there was a lip on the wire, from where it was sheared, that prevented the knob from going on. A dozen strokes from a tungsten point file took care of that lip.

Been looking at some AR-15 grips trying to decide which one(s) I want to try. 😀

My safety knob was SUPER snug, I had to pull the safety and ‘press’ the knob on. At least it shouldn’t come off easily 😀 .

Have you considered making one that is level (flat) with the cross section of an upside down “T” on the bottom for resting nicely on a sand bag or rest?
