Q:

Trigger problems and mods to deal with heavy springs

I have read recently that problems that have ocurred when converting the air force system to a big bore,( above .25 caliber) and that trigger/sear problems have developed with the use of heavy hammer springs.

The post I read, on the yellow forum, did not address specifically what these problems were and how they were solved.

I belive Walter may have been the author of that post and that Adam also was involved in the exchange.

Could any of you who have experienced these problems respond on what they were and how you solved them.

Thanks,

Roachcreek

Any think this mod posted above also solve the need for moving the “sear” spring forward after removing the safety?

Update I did this mod and filed down the middle sear and it worked! No more spring under the hammer sear! Cocking is way smoother now! I recommend this to those that remove their safety’s.

Any think this mod posted above also solve the need for moving the “sear” spring forward after removing the safety?

Thanks all.
