Q:

trigger tention

hi is there a way to make the trigger more soft to pull on my gunpower stealth .22/airforce talon ss .22 as i find i get a bit of trigger nudge (i.e when i pull the trigger it makes the rifle want to pull to the right very slightly makes the POI end up being about 3/4 inch off target to the right). softer trigger will help a million to pull that POI in a bit.

thanks

Not much you can do to lighten pull other than disassemble the trigger group, polish the contact points and give it a bit of moly lube. You have to be careful not to change any angles or cut through the case hardening so if you have any doubts don’t mess with it as you can fudge it up. Did you do the set screw trigger mod? It helps take up “1st stage” travel and eliminate over travel which may or may not help your shooting.

hi i have not done the mod but how do i do it?

thanks

Mark, try gently squeezing the trigger…the word “pull” is marksmanship blasphemy 😀

I did the trigger mod and I think from what you are saying it will help you allot, takes up all the creap and gives you a nice trigger via two set screws you have to install, you can get the pull so it is less also it is in the Quick Ref section Yellow nija posted it if I remember right.
