Q:

Trirails ? also not enough up adj.

I see some trirails have 10 screws in them, have they been added, or is this a custom rail. I wish the AF one was longer for the Condor. I do not seem to have enough up @ 25 yds. in my new Sidewinder 4×16 SR 6, may have to get a adapter ond use Burris rings, adj. mount or a BKL 1 pc 30mm adj. mount.

Thanks

IMHO it’s not a good idea to put a shim inside the scope ring. Could bend the scope tube, because you wind up with one scope ring higher and with a smaller ID than the other scope ring. Something has to give and most likely it be the thin scope tube.

An adjustable cant rail or Burris rings add no stress to your scope tube.

Shims work, just beware.

Maybe you just dont want to but why not put a thin piece of plastic under the scope inside the ring? Not visible. I had to do this on my edgun with hawke 6-24×56
