But there needs to be laws in place for letting just anyone own a gun! Competency in safety and storage, and mental health background checks! The right of citizens to bear arms was to protect against Tyranny! The British invading a sovereign 13 colonies, was what the Second Amendment means!

“no one is believing that” Oh sure you folks are. Bashing the NRA and Trump. Even GW Bush wasn’t as pro-gun as Trump. No orgs or individuals have fought for gun rights more than the NRA. Frankly, you guys are pathetic and probably are part of the reason we are in such a struggle to keep gun rights now.
For months after my membership expired I received mailings and then recorded solicitation phone calls from NRA people asking why I allowed my membership to lapse. With caller ID it would show NRA and I would just ignore it or occaisionally pick up and hang up. Then, one day I hesitated briefly, no recording started and a voice on the other end spoke Hello, surprised, I asked, You a real person, working for the NRA? he replied yes and the NRA would appreciate you re-newing your membership, I then went on to explain my reason WHY I would NOT mentioning Lapierres’ less than heartfelt on camera response,,, the solicitor apologized and I’ve NEVER had another call from the NRA.
So let mr trump go to the NRA and spew his showmanship, ’cause that’s all it is.

I never stated they “should” – I only they stated they “could” because of Liberals. Hardly a hypocrite. You guys have all kinds of excuses for being cheap. If you do nothing but complain you deserve it. That is true of all constitutional rights and freedoms. If you have an alternative way to fight for them – that is fine. (but I highly doubt you do).
What is hypocritical is believing that bashing the NRA is helping protect the 2nd amendment.

The fake news part of this comes into the articles that immediately followed by the Liberal MSM outlets. I can post some of them. Amazingly, the Liberal HuffPo actually agreed with the NRA approach unlike most. If you dropped support of the NRA because of their process your support was very weak to being with.
The Liberal MSM spends a good deal of their time demonizing gun owners. If you are a gun owner on here and are arguing against the NRA or trying to justify why you no longer pay them any dues you are pretty screwed up. You deserved Obama and you deserve to have your gun rights removed.

It’s time for the activist Liberal 9th Circuit court to be put down and the SCOTUS can easily do it now with Gorsuch. Obama judicial appointees should all be impeached as their best interest has always been the Progressive ideology rather than the US constitution. I realize you aren’t a citizen NP but appointees shouldn’t be overriding elected presidential orders with judicial overreach. It is nearly unprecedented except by these Progressive yahoos and violates the constitution. 80% of the 9th Circuit (who also blocked the travel ban) opinions have been reversed by the SCOTUS over the Obama years. That is insane but exactly how activist Progressive judges operates. They don’t care about the constitution and would like to change much of it. If we had justice – Obama would be in prison.
