I went with ELDY pest bird hunting yesterday. I can be a witness that even at relatively low fps, his TALON SS with the 67 grain balls absolutely stops pigeons with authority. It punches a clean hole that looks like someone drilled right through the bird.

R u shooting with an SS valve? Probably get some better range and accuracy once you get some more air behind them. Sounds like a fun, cost effective platform. 😀

Looks like you are putting 60-70ft lbs of force through those birds, but that’s just a guess!
