Q:

TT hammers and the affect they have…?

In short, wanting to go with a TT hammer for my Talon-P, already have Quick Change Top Hat installed.

What affect will both TT hammers w/hammer slap mod have in the Talon-P, (95gr vs 65gr vs OE AF hammer).
Haven’t found definitive info regarding the weight of the original equipment Talon-P hammer, would like to know what affect the TT hammers have on velocity/energy vs the original AF hammer, all else being equal, PW setting, pellet, etc.

What I’m trying to achieve is attain 850-880ish FPS with JSB Kings and the refinement the TT hammer brings to the AF rig.
Juggling first insert and no insert and PW settings that deliver a bell curve with 3000 fill it will attain 930-960 FPS, (no insert), 780-810 fps, (first insert). PW setting between 2-4 delivers a bell curve which I’d like to retain for most shots over a small FPS spread given the small Talon-P tank.

Thank you,
Paul

Normal condor / talon p hammer weighs about the same as TalonTunes talon hammer about 3 grams heavier

that heavier hammer with the quick change top hat will probably make your gun shoot a hell of a lot harder since the tt hammer is quite a bit heavier than the stock one. it will make everything push harder. I have the same set up only with a heavier spring too. I would love to put it on a chrony
