TTQC tophat velocity answers!
After pulling the regs setup off my talondor in an attempt to get it less pellet picky i needed to rechrony it and see where it was at. Well with a .030 nylon washer, wide open tt tophat condor valve, hammer spring, and pw set at 12 slide 8 wheel, and 3500 psi i was getting 1116 fps avg with 18.9 gr jsb for 50 fpe! This is with an 18 inch barrel also. Way tooo hot. So in wne the 1st insert. Dropped to 860 avg. Then smallest insert 768 fps avg. After shooting a few more pellets of various makers it is now shooting 25 gr jsb very well at 24 fpe and 654 fps. Shot it out to 40 yards and the water bottle jumped over my backstop at 40 yards. Now im really staring to like this gun. 24 fpe is more than enough for ground squirrels and gophers.

Not sure how many shots per fill. Should be a bunch. If i remember correctly on the reg it was getting close to 80 on the 490 cc stock tank.
Yes shooting 25.4 gr jsb right about 24 fpe.
Loving the shorter version. Wanna try out a 12 in barrel to see how short i can get it.

How many shots is that giving you?
I seem to remember that regged you were getting around 80 @ 30/35fpe but I cant remember the pellet weight

For those with out a chrony atm, how many fpe does it take for a 25grain or for that matter a 32grain enjuin to go thru 3/4 inch plywood?
Of course at 40yd. what just goes thru(or doesnt) and what passes first shot.

Did you stay with the smallest insert with the heavy pellet? I have some 28/32g pellets coming next week. 24″ barrel also.
