I did something simular to one of my Skans,Ive been planning to do the same with one of my Steaths so I can do away with the adapters for the Mod,
Samjack, nothing too technical, i just chopped the end of the frame level with the forward barrel bush as the extra length there wasnt really needed, then cut a 1/2 unf thread on the barrel for direct barrel fitting of moderator. The drilled forward bush is used to increase the moderator volume, prior to chopping the frame and serves no purpose as the gun is shown in pic. Examples of this shown on Leupy`s site http://www.leupyscustomshop.co.uk .
Assman, both frames shown are as supplied, the newer uk Stealths have a lighter coating when compared to the older ones , is that what you are referring too ? i prefer the newer, lighter finish myself.
Just saw your pics mate, wow, what did ya do on muzzle end,and does it work to keep the noise down, would love to no how you do it,and what you used, please put more graphic pics of everything you have done please, that would help me out loads mate, thanx……
