Ultimate Vulcan trigger tune……
Trigger adjustment for the Vulcan, take your stock off, have the gun upside down.
Have no clip in your gun, make sure you have no pellet in your barrel.

1. Adjust trigger rod # 85 clock wise till it goes all the way and stops. Then their is a collar on the rod with a tiny allen screw on it, against a spring. Have that collar with no pressure on the spring.

2.Look at the back of the main body part #59 you will see two allen head screws #110a
& # 110b with locking nuts on them.

Adjust both one at a time, till your gun will not cock or the safety will not work.
Then back it off counter clock wise, till it does work.
Then adjust the other the same way.

Now both your safety should work & the gun should cock.
Now if you want a hair trigger, which I like.

You can adjust both screws # 110a & 110b a little bit more, but now your safety will not work.

If you look at the trigger & safety their is a little plate that slides, you have too file that edge down just a little bit, so the plate can slide under the trigger.

Then your trigger will work again, and you will have a hair trigger & a working safety.
Do at your own risk, & this may void your warranty. 😯

I liked the trigger on the Cricket, but the Vulcan trigger is INSANE! 😯

Can someone post a link or photo of the drawing that used in the part number references in the first post?

You are correct !

There is a video that shows some of the adjustment process for the trigger. Unfortunately for us it is in a different language.
From what I have learned, from looking at my trigger, and watching the video.
The upper screw is for an overtravel stop, and the lower screw is for sear engagement adjustment. The take up, or first stage is adjusted by lengthening or shortening the long turnbuckle or linkage rod. The tension or weight of the trigger is adjusted by the spring tension on the linkage rod.
There is also a tiny set screw which resides behind the upper trigger blade, this is how to do a fine adjustment of the first stage.
The only adjustment I have actually made to my trigger is to the turnbuckle length. I have not found that I need to adjust the overtravel or sear engagement, it seems that those are well adjusted from the factory.
Does anyone disagree with these thoughts on the different adjustment points for the trigger on the Vulcan? Please let me know if I am correct?
Mike

Nope. The travel of the first stage is adjusted by turning the “wingnut” on the trigger rod breech end. It’s weight is best adjusted by adding/releasing tension on the spring around the rod. The one at the trigger end.
You can’t adjust the first stage with that screw. It adjust the second stage/release.

The top screw also does the first stage. It adjusts the travel and weight.

Length or weight ??

Alright so the top screw on the back adjusts for over travel, right? And the bottom screw adjusts for quick it breaks correct?

How do I adjust the first stage?

Thanks guys!

Great tutorial but there´s no such thing as the “ultimate” trigger tune. Everyone has their specific preferences. That said the Vulcan trigger is immensely tuneable and anyone can tune it to their liking. Everything´s adjustable : The first stage length/weight, the second stage weight/length, the overtravel, the trigger position etc. You can make it to one stage trigger if you desire. If you can´t get this trigger to your liking there´s no trigger you´ll ever like OR you shouldn´t be allowed to work with guns. Period!

Agreed……

I’ve been building bullpups for over five years all with hair triggers & all with working saftey. thats why u keep your finger out of the trigger gaurd. and off the trigger, un -till u r ready too shoot.

I also like a trigger that is easy to pull . However , even though you still have some what of a safety with your hair trigger system
it is always paramount that a safe discharge of any weapon be the top priority over any hair trigger system .
