well, i dunno…maybe with a few mods to the current airarcher platform…i am a dry freak with my guns, however…HATE rust…
You defiantly want decent weight in your projectile. Water slows everything down fast, so a solid projectile would be the optimum spear. I’m sure it could be done on an Airforce platform. I believe I read some time ago that someone made one that the arrow went in the firing tube unlike Tags current configuration.

thing is, he still only uses parts compatible with the AF platform, too much of a workaround if you ask me…

What would be the advantage? You would probably have to rework a lot of parts in order to make everything freshwater and saltwater proof. Saltwater has a way of destroying things quickly.
A semi automatic air archer would be great. I am currently working on a semi auto arrow launcher (not an AF mod though.) Hopefully I will be able to offer them to the forum next year 🙂
