The rail allows me to use this bipod made by TDi some years back….

Mounted to the Vulcan Tactic.

Is the new version shorter than the older one? Looking at the pic it sure looks like it.

Butt pad and the rail are the main changes.

There is many other details I’ve noticed since. Only other practical difference I can find is the cut out to the rear is larger to (maybe) accommodate a hand for carry.

The rail is in line with the stock so you’ll need an adjustable torch mount like the one I have with my tracer f900 IR.

The new stock , Well to me the only big difference between the both of them is the Butt Pad on the stock . Other wise I
really do not see any other advantage in the stock design . :2cents:

FROM : THE BIRDMAN

when they come out with a 10or 20 MOA scope rail I will get another one.

is the accessory rail parallel with the barrel or pointing up? if it takes a IR torch which would point straight forward?

Very nicely made and smartly designed. Need to get one!

Nice hybrid stock! I love the UIT rail under the forearm of my Tactic. The rail was the main reason I did not get the bull-pup.
I think all bullpups should have a rail as they open up more options to fit accessories.

Looks real nice James

Nice. Solves the main problem of the old stock — poor shoulder contact due to abbreviated butt height.

I’d swap out my old stock for a new one if that were possible.
