user single pump air tank (idea/concept)

Due to the pressures required for the guns you wouldn’t be able to fill them up. Existing hand pumps work using a couple of stages to get the high pressures.
It would work for very low pressure only. What do you want to use it for?

They also work because you are able to supply more force on the pump handle than the tiny, last stage compression chamber can push back. If you tried to do that with a large chamber you would look like you were trying to ride a pogo stick, and never win.
Even on the manual pumps it still takes about 200 pounds of force to compress the last inch or so.
