Using CO2 paintball tank and bulk tank fill…
Greetings all,
I have a new, empty 12 oz Paintball tank with cover and pin style valve. This weighs 23oz. Is the fill of 12 oz just added to it and then it is full?
I have a dip tube in the bulk 15# tanks, so I will be filling with liquid. My plan is to then thread this into the Air Force CO2 Adapter and shoot. I have added a plastic Butt plate.
Any thing else I need to know?

When they fill my co2 tank first they empty the tank then weight the empty tank and then add 12 0zS of co2 at Dicks Sporting Good.
The other Sporting Goods fill tank to the till and it won’t take any more co2.
I don’t think it is safe but haven’t blew a burst disk yet, I don’t go there when the weather is HOT! anyway.

Yep, they put it on a scale, tare the weight of the tank, and fill until the gas (liquid, actually) weight reaches 12 oz.
