USPS Strikes Again!
Recently bought a compressor so I sold two 4500 psi tanks. The last tank arrived damaged. Tank was boxed with bubble wrap and paper to keep it tight. The valve, gauge, hose and fittings were wrapped in heavy duty bubble wrap then taped. This is the third package damaged in the last 5 months.

Where can I buy a replacement gauge at a fair price? The shop out west wants $50 plus shipping.

With insurance, you still need to follow their claim rules exactly-take it to a nearby PO, get a receipt for the damaged package, give them proof of the value, etc. etc. I lost a $1,600.00 claim because the customer didn’t get a receipt from the PO and the clerk was an idiot-didn’t offer one. Then, they claimed (at the PO), they lost the paperwork. :angrymob:
I agree. The more I read how others have never had a problem shipping packages USPS the more it makes me think there is one jerk-off handling my packages. Next package that gets damaged I will be making a formal complaint.
