Q:

UTG 4-16×44 Accushot SWAT Scope

Just got one of these scopes in. Optics look decent for a cheap scope. Anyone have experience with this scope and how well does it hold zero?

About 50 yards would also be about the max for me. I’ll check into that side-wheel when the replacement gets here.

quote looknup:

I have this scope on my Mrod and it has a lot of features for the price. The side focus is very stiff and you need the optional big wheel attachment, but with that option it works well. I like the scope for short to medium range bench shooting. The crosshairs are a little thick on high power beyond 50 yards but that is the practical limit of my shooting anyway. I wish the scope were lighter for hunting but it is a great value for the price.

I have one on my old benji 317 and the etched glass version on my benji np, I like them both hole zero fairly well. I do like the Etched Glass Version a lot better, very fine radical like in the Hawke. But harder to fined in stock anywhere and $50 more in cost.

I have the 4-12×44 Compact. There is some distortion around the edge because of the short length, but otherwise a real good scope. Leapers / UTG put out some good stuff for the bucks.

I’ve never noticed a change in zero. Usually it’s me that affects zero. 😯

The sight picture is not as bright as my Hawke scopes but for the money, not a bad scope. I still have it and its mounted on my P-Rod.
