Might be because the sear notch is not long enough or deep enough.
judging by the documentaries ive seen, those greeks sure know a thing or 2 about cocking all sorts of things…
Why is this? I put it on several times and it doesn’t seem to go back far enough to cock.
Have any of you had problems with your cocks? I could use some advice, as returning that breech and bolt to Cyprus is about as likely as me waking up with morning wood.

Saw just told me to call AF and ask for a tool called a “Kock-Sucker”, which he claimed would pull the breech all the way in and make it work. He said to be sure to ask for one that hadn’t been used before! He claims most of them only work once.
I called AF, and explained what I needed, and that I wanted one that hadn’t been used before.
I’m guessing it’s a 3rd party, after-market tool, because she just hung up.
Any other ideas???

My brass breech and bolt came in and while I can get it to fit, it won’t cock. But, the Talon will cock and fire with the AF breech and RL’s OEM hammer and 1/2″ weight behind it.
