valve mod results

After A lot of testing with heaver pellets it finanly became evident that nothing would group as well as 18g JSBs. The condor valve supplys more power than is really needed for this weight pellet, so I obtained A talon valve & bottle. Much improved shot count but a little less velocity than I wanted. About 930 fps with the 18 JSBs. I decided to send the valve off to Tony at talon tunes for A o ring mod and for porting & polishing. Got it back in about three weeks. It looks great and performs great! With A 2900 psi fill , velocities start off about 1030 & end in the 950s after 30 shots, ending pressure 2000. Exactly what I had hoped for. Weather here is so bad its hard to shoot much but I will test whith lower starting pressure soon/.
I plan to purchase an ETaC from Jim for this but I’m holding off to see if he is sucessful in producing A regulated ETaC. He is supposed to be working 24/7 to get it done but i”m concerned hes wasting some of his time eating sleeping & other unproductive things. We will see!
