Q:

valve question???

i know this sounds stupid and i would search it but my computer wont let me use the search on this forum but how do i keep the top hat from moving ….. i know blue loctite but is there any other options and if so how do i apply it (im confused about the blue loctite and i cant it find around the local hardware stores idk why) and i have no idea what to do if i find some….

lol….nope…. its working now i changed settings on the software it now lets me….. and guess wat no viruses so far….loks lik the software was rong?? oh and synopsys the old talon valves are the ones with just the 2 holes as the inserts under the top hat rite….. cause i just recently bought a talon tank on this forum and its has the holes not the horseshoe shapes….. i saw on thhee search they are better whith the holes not horshoes….correct??

There is a set (grub) screw on the side of the top hat that holds it in position on the stem. After you adjust the top hat position relative to the vale body with a feeler gauge (if you are trying to fine tune your shot count), then apply Blue Loctite to the threads of the screw and tighten the set (grub) screw.
Almost all automotive and hardware stores carry Loctite Blue or Red.
