Valve removal?
I have bought a regulated tank from JDS Air Man, now I need to put the valve from my orignal tank on it.
How difficult is it to remove the valve from the original tank? Any special tips? Or is it just a question of applying enough force? Of course I know I have to empty the tank first.

And don’t forget to empty the tank out first. I’m sure you already know this, but if not, put a dime or a penny in the fill adapter and slowly torque it down until the air starts to bleed out….
Jirka the tool 80 grit is talking about is a good tool to have this is what i did to remove mine a while back I am not sure what they call them where you are at but here they are called a dodge collar or locking collar basically just a collar with an OD and a ID of a certain size with a set screw in them what you want to get is a collar with an ID of an 1 1/4 outside doesn’t matter, there are two ways you can use this one is take out the set screw and get a bolt the same thread size screw that in where the set screw was and slip this collar on the outside of the valve collar turn the bolt down inside the hole you might want to grind a tad off the end of the bolt to fit in the hole just grind off the threads so it fits down inside the hole without damaging the hole, not the one with the set screw in it the one without threads tighten it up then you can use a small pipe over the bolt to loosen it up or a pipe wrench on the collar, this way you won’t damage anything but the collar that slips over the valve collar works great! Also to hold your air tank use a few old magazines in a vise to protect the bottle tighten it up enough so it doesn’t turn in the vise then you can break the vavle collar loose!
Thanks. So it is basically the same as AirArms/CZ 200S and I can probably use the tool I made for these, except I will have to remove one pin and be careful about what hole to use. Great. Looking forward to what the regulated tank can do 🙂

I’m not sure if he will send it to the Netherlands, though…if not, you need to figure out a way to get “leverage” on that indentation (not the burst disc) and get it moving counterclockwise. The two I have done so far have been very tight and it took many “whacks” with a hammer to get it started once MM’ tool was in place around the valve. Good luck!
