Valve stuck on rifle.
Ideas on how to remove 😆 I tried to twist my rubber butt pad around and must of tightened the bottle Into the rifle as I was twisting – Tried to unscrew the bottle from the rifle and the valve came off the bottle. I don’t suppose It helps that the bottle was empty but still I need to remove the valve from the rilfe. Any ideas? I’ll probably be off to get a baby boa tomorrow and hope that does the job.

I’ll have to check but I don’t think my TalonSS has the second screw. It does have two set screws on the TH so…
Could have been added and isn’t a bad idea if done right. 😉
Mine Is a stealth – so UK version. I’m guessing It’s a newer stealth as It has the 2 grub screws In the TH aswell as the newer style valveing. I bought It S/H so can’t be sure on age. My rifle came with vented bushing, modded valve so perhaps this Is something the previous owner had done? It was just like a long set screw with a countersunk and It sat flush under my scope mount. You guys not have this then??

Well It eventually came off, There was another screw holding the collar In and the screw was under my scope mounts. I stripped the rifle down completely and only noticed It then 😉 Least It’s off the rifle but Is still on the collar very tight indeed!!
Just try to twist it the collar should just come right out
The boa doesn’t fit so Will try the channel grips when I find them. I just took the grip off Brad and undone the grub screw but the collar Isn’t pulling out 😕 Perhaps a bit of gentle persuasion with a hammer???? But you can’t get much angle to hit It 👿

I would recommend taking the pistol grip off there is a little Allen screw holding the collar in take that out and the valve will come right out with the collar then it will be easer to remove the valve
maybe pull the pistol grip off and with a pair of channel locks come from the bottom
Yup 😆 The tanks was empty and The valve wasn’t screwd Into the tank tight as I’s just took the valve off the tank to have a bit of aplay. I tried lelvering the burst disk slot with a screw driver but no luck there. I can’t grip the circular bit on the valve as there’s no room to and don’t want to grip the thread as It will no doubt get chewed. Only thing I can think off Is the baby boa aslong as the strap on It will fit In the small gap between the frame and valve.
So you screwed the tank out of the frame and the valve stayed in?
Can you wrap the collar with some padding like leather then grip it with a pair of vice grips?

Mine is quite a new stealth and it has 2 grub screws as well in the ring.
few days ago I locked my CO2 adapter quite tight and when i unscrewed the bottle it opened up and left the valve on the gun.
I was wondering what to do.
Took a vice grip and carefully unscrewed it , so it can be done this way as well without damaging the valve.
