Q:

Valve talk.

Pretty new to the AirForce scene. Latest talk on the Talon P is showing quite a few valve variations for all the different guns and at least on aftermarket (R&L) valve. So what gives with high flow, normal flow (guessing on this one), direct flo, R&L flow that only works with a high flow .22 tank? I bought a used Talon SS Talon Tuned and have no idea which valve or tank I might have.

Thanks

Quick is run down and i am probably missing many things but here we go anyhow. All the bottles are much of a muchness just some are DOT approved and some are EC approved depending on their origin. Standard valves are most common the high flow valve has a larger stem to allow greater air flow.Micro meter is an adjustable version of the standard valve. They also did a few variants of the standard valve with anti tamper. There is also an newer version of the high flow valve. All valves will work in all guns just giving varying results. Save for sub 12ftlb guns that will not open high flow valves at full pressure.

Thanks Zilog. You think the Talon SS came with a standard valve? I’m guessing the high flow ones are probably most used on the Condors. I’ll have to find the notes on my used gun to see if there was any tank or valve info.
