Q:

velocity

Hi,

My Stealth with 12″ barrel is running at 1000 fps with 18 grain .22 JSB.

What velocity can I get with a 10″ and 8 ” barrel with the same pellet ?

Thanks, Yoeri

1000 fps with 21 grain is no problem.

First my Stealth (Blodnod valve, 90 gram hybride hammer from Leupy) was doing 1025 fps with the 18 grains JSB and the valve was not set for max power and could even add some more preload behind the hammer spring. But 1025 fps was to fast for nice tight groups so I removed some preload. Now 1000 fps is just fine for the 18 grains JSB’s. I can get 1 inch groups at 75 yards in perfect outdoor conditions.

so what king of velocity can you get with the 21g to 32 g pellets with the short 12” barrel, was thinking of going with a shorter than 24” on my 22 condor ,

but i want to be able to get the 1000fps with the heavy pellets too.

Gunpower is very expensive for parts. £250 with shipping is more than 300 euro for those parts. To expensive for my project. On the BBS forum most complete Stealths or sold for about £250. I hope someone is having a frame for sale. I doensn’t have to be in perfect condition because I have to shorten the frame. I have also contacted AF but also to expensive because of shipping and extra taxes.

You will be able to buy that direct from Gunpower UK.

Make sure you list what you want ie
Frame
Trigger Assembley
Trigger
Grub Screws
Hand Grip
Fore arm Grip
coller to scew the bottel into.

might cost £200 / £250

900 fps with 8″ barrel, that’s perfect for a mini Stealth 😎

So I can use the same bottle for the 12″ Stealt and 8″ Stealth. Now I only need a secondhand frame with trigger and that’s hard to find.

25 fps less/more per inch difference as a general rule.

So 1000fps would be 950 with a 10″ and 900 with the 8″.
