Vented frame & Fluted breech
What are the advantages of a vented frame and fluted breech . Are they just cosmetic ?

the idea is to give the air a place to go and expand to help slow it down and decrese the noise that it makes…..

Thanks will look it up. Didnt know two holes in the frame makes such a difference.
It is a DIY job if you have a drill press or a steady hand…. You will need to remove your front barrel bushing and vent it then you drill two 1/8″ holes in the frame under you hand guard…. I believe that there is a how to in the FAQ section….

fluting the breach is purely cosmetic
venting the frame helps quiet things down on a TSS or condor when a shroud is used…..

the breach is just for looks,(and kind of Tony’s signature) the vented frame … well some claim it reduces the report when cupeled with a vented bushing and a shroud, some say it adds to the sound. either way you need a shroud and the front bushing vented for it to do anything

Dont go to crazy venting the frame. It only needs 3 or 4 1/8″ holes
