You can find them cheaper if you look around,, BUT< BUT<
I find I need it to extend a lot higher than what it does, I am sitting in a chair and I really have to crank it up at some high shots ,
A taller one would be way cool, I am sure some one some where makes one?
Like I say so far its the BEST thing I have bought so far, I will post up my PVC shooting stick soon,

If I can get that to fit my huge camera tripod it would be killer.
Sometimes I use the Primos Mono pod stick, But I use a walking stick made out of PVC that I use quite often,
I will see if I can get photo bucket to work, But its just a one inch PVC pipe cut and a handle put on the end ,
Its all back yard stuff for now no real hunting , Not yet anyway,
The Dead shot sits in the garage I do my long distance (to me) telephone pole shots with it, Sometimes.

I’ve got an extra Dead Shot (cameo) that I’ll sell cheap if anyone is looking for one.
I have a Deadshot too. Great way to sight in when you don’t have a range to go to. I used it to shoot squirrels off my deck from the lawn chair!
For walking around and FT I use the Primos monopod.

I have the Dead Shot Field pod Magnum. It is the best I’ve found, but bulky to transport in the field. I also have the one you showed plus the high and low Primos Triggerstick bi-pods… For shooting in the back yard, it’s the field pod magnum… for ground blind coons and hogs, etc. it’s the one you posted. Spot and stalk, it’s the long trigger stick bipod. Riding around in my truck, it’s the short bipod… They all have their uses…
I bought a Stoney Point shooting bipod years ago, unfortunately it’s no longer available. Works great for standing shots out an interior door…
I’ve been eyeing the Caldwell Deadshot for seated shooting positions.
The next-up version can be carbon fiber tripod plus fluid video head. Take off your bullpup stock, make some adapter and fix your gun on the quick release plate. Now you have a stable system not much heavier than the gun.
For the kill zone size we’ve been shooting, I free off hand shoot up to 50 yards ………. usually rest/pod pass that.
Often times as we know it’s the critters that are the ones that are moving and not the shooter.
The tri pods are a bit more useful in that sometimes I use it as a mono with it’s legs closed together.
Use it also to hang gun/stuff on it at the farm to keep things off of the ground, it’s poop and bug village there.
For my spotting scope as well and a good third hand when I need to take pictures in the dark with no flash.
I think the shorter versions where made for kids/youths ……… but I maybe wrong ?
I do think they ALL have a place and each pod type does have a different shooting experience one needs to develop/acquire.
…. all-in-all one needs to weigh out their own preferences for the application uses/used.

I have the tall mono pod and I do not have any problems shooting out to 50 yards with it and hitting my targets .
Tall means one generally has to be standing in order to shoot with it . Unless you are more disabled then myself
or you are shooting a heavy gun I really do not get why you need a bipod or tripod stick . I can even shoot my
mono pod while in my boat without any problems .

One of the best thing I have bought is the Primos Gen 2 tri pod Trigger Stick they come in mono, bi and tri pods each in two different heights too.
They have a 2-Point gun rest accessory which I’m tempted to buy.
