Q:

VERY SAD!! CONDOR Hi-Flo tank leaking :-( Need Help !!!!

i got 2 hi-flo tanks,

tank no.1
it’s a brand new condor .25 hi-flo tank from pyramid airgun. unfortunately i dropped it on ground and the air mouth is deformed a little. just a little…

always leaking, hold no pressure, after i refill it to 200bar standard pressure, i can not even release it from quick connect, i wait quite a long while the pressure drop to 2 bar then release the tank from quick connect, i can hear the leaking sound, sssss…..ssss from the mouth, i put tank in the water, i can see the leaking air from mouth, o ring is well sealed.

i disassembled the valve, check the brass base, valve stem, delrin valve seat found no problem except the deformation on the mouth, 😥 i think the deformation is the mouth, it doest matter with the leaking.

does anybody know what’s going on? or any suggestion of repairing?

tank no.2

it’s a used hi-flo tank, after about 5 times refilling, i found the pellet speed drops to 500 fps or under, the refill pressure is 200bar and no leaking. when i replace another hi-flo from my friend, every thing goes back to normal. i believe the problem is my hi-flo tank.

need help!!

Call airforce I think there like 15 Buck. Or close to that price

thanx, i’ll check the stem,

where can i order the single stem? any resource, url or something?

it seem to have the whole tank for sale but not the small stem.

Your stem is more then likly bent just a little. Replace the stem and Polish the back of the brass where the durling meets. Then make sure every thing is really clean

On the new tank that you dropped? I am not sure I suggest you send it back tell them you dropped it and they will fix it done deal! On your other tank 2 Airforce air tanks do different things sometimes I do know some don’t like to be filled to max air pressure mine don’t I will get weak shots for the first few then things are ok, I fill mine to 2400 psi and shoot down to 1700 for about 30 good shots, can get more just drops poi slightly. This is with an 18″ barrel,I know use an oring mod which is a oring behind the top hat I am shooting jsb 18.1 at an average of 920 and get 45 shots at a 2200 psi fill down to 1700 psi, saves quite a bit of wasted air gives it a cushion! Also with this oring mod if I fill over 2200 I will get low fps until it reaches the 2200 took me a while to figure out what was going on but with the oring there and to much pressure in the tank it wouldn’t allow the hammer to hit it hard enough with the oring cushion, But works great! uses very little air from 2200 to 1700 for 45 shots I am happy! 😆
