Veteran lethal today!

Well Squirrel season came in on 9-15 in Alabama, today was my first opportunity to hunt with Vet since August purchase. All the paper punching in the meantime paid off! I knew she was accutate….and it carried into the field! I went 5 dead squirrels for seven shots today. The thing I appreciate about the Veteran is the anti double load feature…was able to de-cock without worrying about double loads when the squirrels presented the best shot opps. The Vetern is a really, really good hunting rifle! Oh, I was hunting in the Upper Mobile delta WMA today…mid week is a good time to hunt publis lands… :8: . The area I was hunting about 8,000 acres of delta bottom land…60 to 70 year old Hardwood bottom land, I didn’t see another soul, it was great!! :4:
