Video of Airwolf MCT 3060 shooting a CD from 70 yards
I took this video maybe 3 – 4 weeks ago using my iPhone. My buddy and I were bored shooting targets at a distance of 70 yards and decided to attempt to shoot through the hole of a CD. He is the one doing the shooting or the pellets would have been in the middle of the CD. 😆
He misses the hole but keeps his aimpoint. Notice how his second shot just makes the fist shot’s hole a little bigger at 12:00 and the third shot makes it a little bigger at 9:00. This was a tight group for being in the wind and the pellets were being blown to the right all day long, sometimes a little and sometimes a lot. A sand bag was used to rest the front of the MCT and the stock was shouldered while in the prone position. The pellets used were H&N Barracuda Match 21.14 grain. The setting was on high power averaging 37+ FPE. Notice you can hear my friend talking from 70 yards away but you can’t hear the MCT when the trigger is pulled! This is due to the MCT’s barrel shroud in combination of a 7″ LDC on the end of the barrel. The pellet impact is all you hear! It is even silly quiet to the shooter due to the lack of the typical mechanical noise and hammer slap! The Daystate Airwolf MCT is the most accurate air rifle I have shot so far with the Edgun Matador in second place. The MCT’s trigger is unmatched and I believe is part of the reason it is so accurate. The extremely quick lock time is the other reason. The Edgun is a lot lighter, a lot shorter, and still very accurate so I’m not taking anything away from the Edgun Matador. It was a great combination to own both of these fine air rifles at the same time.
