may be able to squeeze a low profile angled mount on the rail beneath my scope – something like

& find a small red dot scope.

i tried mounting on the barrel with a cheapo ebay barrel mount but the space between the barrel and air tube is tight so couldn’t get the fixings in place. your barrel mount link looks it will work but boy is it expensive – may have to do some more modelling on fatguys.com

The height of the red dot will make close shots (less than 10 yards, I am assuming) tricky because the amount of hold over at close distance is very sensitive to distance to target.

This picture is with a scope height of 2.12″, which is very low for a bullpup. A red dot on top of this will extend the sight height to 3″ or so, amplifying the amount of holdover even more.

I found this barrel mount weaver rail that may be a solution for people who are willing to hold the gun “gangsta style”. Attach this to the barrel directly, and then a low red dot or See All Night Sight. This should have reduce the distance between the barrel axis and the sight axis.

For really close up shots, I have several air pistols to choose from, but none has the same power level as the Mutant.
