I shoot the Russian version of JSB 10.3 at 830/825 fps and slay sparrows and starlings out at 40/50 yrds. But light winds can give me fits sometimes. You won’t see exploding sparrows but will get the 180 hanging headstand with fanning wings and tail.

Be-leave me I have been up and down on the 177 thing for about seven years shooting the PCP guns
I broke down and bought a cheap 177 PCP, could not adjust the trigger, the cocking was bad , and the gun just had a cheap fill to it,
But it shot super straight, The 177 pellet had very little curve to it from 20 yards to 50 yards , Pretty flat shooting as a 177 should be.
There are some 16gr JSB 177 pellets out there that should provide a little knock down power,
Very tempted to change to 22 , But I want a 177, For some strange reason.

Not pellet picky at all any jsb including polymag shorts

Rws excite hammer and hollow point were rubbish, were cheap but did not fare well
You see I need to test some flatheads…
If you have sausage fingers get a .22 instead and detune it by turning the barrel and use 13graim jsb instead

Get more magazines lol

If you increase the reg probably even theH&N sniper magnums will do well, actually the do well at low FPS so worth trying

Remember it is not FX you will be fine, anything domed light or heavy…

Kris , yes getting the V2 What pellets does your Vulcan 177 like?
Fatdude , I got all my information from the 2018 air gun show and 99% was in Russian I think, I just looked at the pictures of then holding the V2 and tried my best to under stand what they were saying , More or less in a nut shell he was saying everything on the gun was improved, The cocking arm is stranded on the gun. The magazine holders that Tony sells was the point that tiped the scale
Yep thats my next gun,
Mike
