Vulcan .22 barrel set screw?
The set screw on top of the barrel is stripped out and does she not hold in place. When the gun is shot it’ll blow the screw out. After blowing my screw out luckily I found it and it doesnt seem to be stripped at all looks perfectly fine but the threads inside the hole don’t look so good? Any suggestions what I can do?

Wow I basicly had the same thing happen to my.25 Tactic, I thought it was meant to hold the barrel in place from rotating but didn’t reach so I either slipped the screw a little or the threads a little but screw stays in while shooting for now.
Well, at least the screw isn’t used to hold the barrel in place. It merely needs to seal the port alignment peep hole against air leakage that would otherwise go around the barrel and out that hole. I would first try about 4 wraps of teflon tape to see if that would give you enough bit to hold the screw in place. You will need to slice the tape to make it narrow enough, of course. Put a piece of black electrical tape over it to retain the screw in case that isn’t enough to hold it.
Failing that, go on to locktite stripped thread repairer. If that doesn’t work you are looking at having the hole rethreaded for a larger set screw. The new screw should NOT be long enough to engage the barrel. It should just seal the hole.
BT, that hole is used to align the barrel’s rotation when you place the barrel back into the breach block. Just peer in it and align the divot of the barrel with the hole. In terms of how far back to placed the barrel, that is best done using a a magazine to gauge the proper distance. You don’t want it too far back or the barrel will interfere with the magazine rotating into mounting position.
