Vulcan .25 makeover…

I know some will say why do this to such a nice piece of wood, but I just couldn’t take it. I’ve been working on this stock for 2 days and finally after sanding and numerous coats of paint and clear she’s done. I mounted a Hawke HD 3x9x40 from a FFP 30mm tube, and man I love the way she handles. I also added some let over carbon fiber vinyl wrap for the look. I’ve got a few items to add to make official for night stalking.

I tried but failed miserably. I takes a lot more work and probably some tricks to get in all those corners to remove all the finish. This just a temp till I save for that Vortex 2.5x10x32 or a SWFA 6×50. Haven’t made up my mind yet but the light weight is really nice.
