Q:

Vulcan .25 – shroud exit hole diameter

Hi,

What is the shroud exit hole diameter in your Vulcans .25? I am interested in gen1, gen2 and gen3.

Thanks.

It’s pretty quite for sure. Looking at the baffle its apparent that it’s air stripping ability is working well. Each different bore hole has progressively less lead dust residue.

Sounds more like .22 shroud rather than .25 one.

Shooter, I measured it again this morning with a little more time and I’m getting .274-276 and yes it is the monocore.

Do you have a monocore? That is an insane tolerance, isn’t it? The shroud must be perefectly concentric which requires really precise machining. I guess 1 to 1.5mm more than the pellet diameter is what is usually used by other manufactures. Here we are talking about 0.6-0.7mm.

How about monocores for .22? What is the diameter of the exit hole there?

My 25 Tactic is .268-.270.
