Q:

Vulcan .25 video performance at 100 yards crazy accurate

I’m really happy what my Vulcan can do at 100 yards. I have several groups on and off camera. 100 yards is the new 50 and I couldn’t be happier. Not all gun barrel are equal and I think I have a special one. Off camera I shot three groups in a row 1” , 1” , and 1” four shot 5th making it 2” back to back to back no sorting!! On camera I couldn’t get the same result because it’s just too difficult the gun has some kick to it. Check out the vid…

Will post up when I get the chance. The shot string tape that came with it indicate a speed of 890-900 fps with JSB 25.4 gr. That’s what I’ve been shooting in my 25 cricket so I just naturally used them in the Vulcan. I just took advantage of the 15% discount from Pyramid Air’s Leap Day add to order some other pellets to try out.

Dang, I’m impressed! I love mine too. Haven’t done much paper punching yet, but with still conditions in my back yard, I can make a sparrow’s head explode at 55 yards every time. Longest shot so far 77 yards on a starling sitting on my fence. He died so quick, he didn’t even let go of the wire. He just swung down and hung on the wire for a couple minutes. Top of his head was gone. If I can get a still afternoon, I want to stretch it out to a hunert yards and see what it will do.

Let me know what are your result. What pellet and sped are you shooting it with. To be honest those four lucky shot measuring .19” will probably never happen again. Think about it two of those pellet has to break the paper and then the last has to go through that hole perfectly at 100 yards. As long as I’m getting 1” group once in a while I’m a happy camper.

Excellent shooting and excellent gun! What was your set up? What scope, rest, pellets, ..etc?

I had the hawke 8-32x scope with gun rest and sand bags shooting the jsb 25g 900 fps. most important no wind it was very calm day.
