Dear Mr. Hoot!

Thanks for the interest shown to our production!

The beginning of sales of rifles the VULCAN is postponed till 20.08.2014, because we decided to carry out additional tests of air tank in the company BAUER, which specializes on systems of a high pressure.

Now we carry out tests to final fracture and as 20 000 cycles of a recharge of an air cylinder.
I hope that you agree that such tests are very important for rifles PCP.

Results of tests will be published on our site. In the course of testing we made some changes to a design and now received the following technical parameters:

cal. 6,35 (.25) – 63 joules, 40 shots, pellets JSB King.
cal. 5.5 (.22) – 41 joules, 90 shots, pellets JSB 5.52
cal. 4.5 (.177) – 22 joules, 150 shots, pellets JSB 4.52

Barrels only CZ.

Unfortunately, not everything goes according to plan, but we will better waste time, than we would sell production of which I won’t be sure of quality.

We will report about the beginning of sales in addition very soon.”

We will report about the beginning of sales in addition.

I apologize for mistakes, I use an online translator.

Best regards,

Evgeny Pigrov

Well, there you have it…August, 2014 it is my boys…You Europeans, I’m interested in the 6.35 caliber, how much is 63 Jewels in US Dollars??? I’m not certain of the conversion of Czech Jewels to USD….Doesn’t sound too expensive, but I can’t find a conversion chart on-line.

Kindest regards,

Uncle Hoot:

Last we heard they where still seeking financial backing so they could ramp up production, but then again google translate has botched translations before.

I just had an e-mail exchange with Steve from WWAG and he said that they have tried to make contact with the Vulcan folks, but has gotten nowhere. Can’t even make contact. Hope they end up as the importer.

There’s been rumors that tbear is even crazier than I am. Not true of course! No one is crazier than I am.

I don’t think so. I googled it and 1 Czech Jewel is $20.1226 USD. Why would you think it was a joke?

Where did you see that it cost 63 Jewels ?

All I see is that the .25 produces 63 joules.

Nomad, what I think tbear is saying is the literature states the .25 “produces” 63 Joules of income for the Vulcan production facilities!

Hoot:

I still hope that you an Tbear are just messing around :biggrinn: :biggrinn:

So what ? the .177 is gonna cost 400 Bucks ? 😀

Nomad…you are an exceptional man! What with you running naked through the jungles, killing those porkers with pcp’s, and sometimes with your bare hands…that’s to be admired! I can’t imagine what you do with all that pork.

By the way, I saw a special on television where some of those dense forests in the islands are considered by some of the backwoods locals to be their private hunting property, and they don’t take kindly to other people hunting their areas. It was said that sometimes people get into some arguments out there, and some end badly.

Have you ever had a problem with this?

Hoot:

I accept defeat since I have no clue what you guys talking about, …BTW that gun looks nice

LOL

Perhaps the confusion comes due to the different translations of “Jewels” and “Joules”, one being a common English word, the other a Czech colloquial expression, used in remote parts of that country, inter-changeable for “power/money”, both of which equal “energy” in that very old culture.

Sorry for the confusion!

It does take a lot of energy to obtain 60 Czech Joules!!! I wouldn’t be one bit surprised if it cost $20 per each.

At any rate, it will be interesting to see how this thing specs out. Is it an upgraded, new and improved, off-brand Cricket, created by an errant ex-Cricketeer???

Inquiring minds want to know!

Hoot:

I’m sure Hoot is just being funny, but just in case,
joules is the European way to mesure FPE :winkn:
