Vulcan power adjustment?
I just received my 25 cal Vulcan. The chronograph sheet that came with it showed it shooting the JSB at around 1100 fps. I know that was kinda fast. When I was shooting it it was doing around 880fps. I would like to get it up to 920-940fps. Is it simple to do it? Do I need to adjust the regulator? I do love this gun. You just can’t imagine how short and light it is until you pick it up.

ok thanks. That makes sense. I was surprised to see such high numbers. First thing I thought was it would be great with the new JSB heavies. Mine is shooting great where it is now.
My .22 Vulcan shows a little different than its test strip but the elevation is at least 850 ft. difference and i had a storm approaching. In fact I didn’t plan to shoot a target today but had a mostly used one in the van. Tony had a ragged 6 shot hole at 30 yards and I got a left to right movement at 50 yards about 1 inch lower. It was real good shooting for me but I did have an 18 mph 45° cross wind.
And another great thing is I had 77 shots real close on the vertical with no drop off yet. From a full fill of 250 bar down to about 115 bar. Manual says to refill the .22 Vulcan at 120 bar but I don’t think I voided the warranty for just 5 psi. :whistle:
The Aeon scope I got from TT is impressive looking and goes good with the Vulcan. The quick release scope rings Tony provided are very nice and beafy having 6 set screws on each.

Yes it started off at 1100 and ended at i think 1062. It was the JSB 25 gr. There was a print out taped to the cardboard box. I got it from RL Airguns. It is shooting at 880 with the 25 gr JSB for me.
