Vulcan problems
Is it me or does it seem the Vulcan is having a lot of teething problems,
I am a big Vulcan fan, I watched Star Trek all the time, :whistle: :whistle:

My go to gun is…………I mean was, the Vulcan. I still believe my Cricket will out shoot my Vulcan but not by much. Both guns will out shoot the BC. All 3 guns are in .22. As of right now my Vulcan is back with Ernest. It seems the reg is set to high and he’s going to lower it to out shoot Donny’s Vulcan. 😆 My .22 M-rod is still sitting upstairs collecting dust.
I love the feel and weight of the Vulcan and it’s a pleasure to shoot when it’s shooting consistent, maybe I should have gotten a .25, who knows.
Beachnut, I’ve tried several times to shake them babies loose but she won’t give em up.
I got my .25 from Tony when He sold his first batch of .25 Vulcans and I have never had anything go wrong with it yet , still shoots as good if not
better since the day I took it out of the box . I love shooting this gun and killing all of the pests that I get to shoot with my Vulcan . It’s like every
kill is a trophy in its own right regardless of how many kills are taken , each one is special .

I guess my Crickets have been so good because I sent them right to the expert tuner before they hit my hands. We all know who he is the guy that keeps building all these super cool PCP guns, I am not telling you his name (Earnest) oops,

I must say the Vulcan has a very simple design to it. I think that’s how they wanted it to begin with. Make a very reliable accurate and simple bullpup. My 25 has not had a single issue since I got it. Very good experience right out of the box. There does seem to be issues with the 22s which seems weird. My 22 cricket is pretty much flawless since I worked all the issues out of it. That took quite a while too. I think when you have people buying $1200 plus airguns there is a higher expectation of reliability accuracy and performance. That for some reason or another is not easily met with any manufacturer

What teething problems are you talking about?
Aside from the twang on the rifle, there was no other issue on my .25 Vulcan – and even then, that twang was easily fixed for $1.04 + tax for some rubber grommets. The Vulcan quickly replaced my .25 Edgun R3M Standard as my go-to PCP and the Edgun has not shot a single pellet in about three months since the Vulcan landed. It’s ultra consistent, deadly accurate, and easier/more fun to shoot than the Edgun.
Now if you want to talk about some real teething problems, I can go into detail about the FOUR (4) Colibri Hummingbirds I went through recently just to find one that could index and shoot reliably…
It seems that when purchasing a high-end Bullpup, one needs to hold their breath when taking this a leap of faith.
Most are lucky to get a good one, very few are not but as rare as that is …… it happens ….. SHIT….. more then once even.

Actually I think it is the power of advertisement.
When you read a forum about any one product you may get the idea that it has more of problems than others.
Most people with problems are still saying “I love this gun ❗ ”
They have new innovations and haven’t been in manufacture a hundred years yet.
it is an airgun, they all break at some point, will have to have some seals or other parts replaced.
Even the german manufactured one have problems, if you go to those owner forums you will see, it is always about issues on the forums.
do you know what the meaning of a “keeper” is? many airgun user keep buying and selling until they find a good one. they fear to touch work on the current gun so they end up selling it and buying a different piece or model. so on and on. I think it is better to sort out the one you have got.
there are owners who has not had their one broken yet and they live in denial, that it can or eventually WILL break. they are saying it is “not possible” hahaha
come on it is an airgun, if you expect something else, you are wrong buy something else
this hobby requires you to work on these, otherwise you will be just posting guns and waiting for the postman. my last bit is don’t buy any chrony. it is not good for you.
