Q:

Vulcan Regulator

So, I got an e-mail from John Hagan asking me if I had a Vulcan2, and if I did, would I measure the O.D. of the Regulator so he could make a Reg tester for a customer. Being the nice guy that I am, I tore apart my Vulcan2 to measure the Reg for John. Now mind you, I already have a Vulcan in .22 and a spare Reg. Now I’m wondering, is the O.D. of the .22 Reg the same as the O.D. of the 25 Reg, should I just measure the .22 Reg and send him the measurements ??? But what if they’re not the same and he builds this tester and sends it off. :suprisedn: Being I didn’t want to be that SOB that gave him the wrong measurements, I pulled the Reg out of my .25 to be sure.
I even measured the O.D. of the air tube and yes they were the same, but, I couldn’t take the chance. The .25 measured 1.2160″ and the .22 measured 1.2180″. Removing the air tube on the Vulcan2 only took a few seconds once it’s out of the stock, where as removing the air tube on my .22 takes several minutes. They “AGT” really made it easier on this new Vulcan2 to work on this gun.
