Q:

Vulcans are in.

I was on a waiting list for the Vulcan, but bought a Hummingbird. Just got an email from TopGun Airguns, they just got some. In case any of you are interested. Since I am now broke, and happy with the Hummingbird I am going to pass.

And you, together with Hootsie, can certify that. You remember our long showers together, Hoot dropping the Soap and how we laughed. Sweet times ! :6:

Hoot: did you chulk the tires on your wheelchair to keep it from running down hill before shooting??

Syphilitic idiot!!! All the new carbon fiber wheel chairs have electric brakes, and an automatic “Park” today!

Best get back on the penicillin, your mind’s starting to rot.

The new Vulcans are $1575 USD plus “SHI”, which I assume is shipping, handling, and insurance. That could add another $100 to the bill.

PS: Zonk…rumor has it that you are Latvian. Is this true? Sir Ville was first a Fin, then a Swede, now a Homo….

No, you senile bastard : First i was a homo , living in Finland until they deported me to Sweden. You know the story about my great escape with the Rowboat – the same Boat we used on our recent Canoe Trip thru the Toad Suck river.

Do you have new stock bird or old stock. Looks like the birds from top gun work great. No index issues

.

Same here Goat….that Hummingbird is a fun little gun to shoot. Accurate as hell and tiny. I’ve got mine cranked up to about 36 fpe, shooting 21.1gr at 880 fps.

It can be cranked up to 40 fpe, but shot count goes to hell.

I was shooting dime sized objects at 40 yards the other day. My neighbor wanted to try and he was hitting the same target as I was. Granted we were resting the gun on a rail, while sitting, but it does give a good indicator that for all practical purposes the ‘Bird will take care of business in the small game department.

Here’s Ernest’s video on regulator pressure adjustment. Increasing/decreasing power on this gun, while pressurized, is stupid simple, once you watch the video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4S4jLJ7tVZg&feature=youtu.be

The Hammer Tension Spring seems to be a minor player in the power adjustment…more of a fine tuning touch-up, after setting the reg to where you want it.

Word to the wise, if you adjust the reg, be certain to mark/scratch the OEM start point on the nut and regulator surface so you can always go back to where you started. Adjustments is in very small increments…1/8ths or 1/4ths of a full turn to achieve major changes.
