Waiting for the R3 .25

Hello all 🙂
Let me start by interoduce myself….my name is Kristoffer and I’m from Denmark…yep that’s right, that little freckle some where next to sweden 😆
I’ve been watching this section of the forum for a loooong time now, and it was partly because of you guys I really got hooked on the idea of the matador.
So I decided to take the plunge and be the first Dane to order an EDgun.
I’m told by Ed it should be here by March…fingers crossed!
You guys have so far with out even knowing it, been extremely helpfull and informative.
For this I thank you all ❗
I’ll let you all know when the gun arrives, how the storie goes, but for now I’m just learning from all of you.
Let me just ad that this is not my first Pcp. I’ve got a Royale 400 and a FX 2000, but this is going to be in a nother league.
Also I’m really hoping to be able to sign up for some of the spare o’ring super deals offered here by a very caring member!!

Yes we are neighbours 😀
Actually lived in Norway for about 6 months when I was a kid.
A little town called Slemmestad (Hope I spelled it right) beuatiful country (and your women are like ours…VERY pretty 😎 ), not flat as a pancake like DK, but rich in mountains and wildlife….envy 😳

Thanks for the nice offer on the o’rings, but the gun probaly won’t be here until March anyway.

In summer I am in Skagen every now and then (crossing by boat from down south in Norway)……

Beautiful place and coastline, women and food……!!!! 😀

Now if you need any O-rings before OG gets his new supply out, – just let me know. I should have O-rings for the rest of my life thanks to OG… 😉

Sounds good about the o’rings.
I’ll take your offer and would like in on the group buy 😀
But just to be on the safe side, I think it would be a good idea to take the full kit when the time comes.

Hi Depeche. Welcome aboard!

I plan on starting another group O ring buy around Feb 1st and I will start a new post when I am ready. If you buy one of the O ring kits, you will never need to buy another O ring for the Matador. The price will be the same, $30 shipped to the US and $35 anywhere else in the world, including Denmark. 😆

For the R3, I don’t think that you would need the full kit. You could probably get by with a few extra probe O rings. In 2 1/2 years with my Edguns, I have just needed the probe O rings, a couple of barrel end O rings (the R3 doesn’t use one) and the front O ring in the regulator wore out after 15,000-17,000 shots.

Yes, I live in the US. In the southern part of the US in the State of Alabama.

I don’t really have a ETA, other than was told back in October that it would be multiple months before I could get it.

I am patiently waiting and enjoying life until I get the email.

Did you get an ETA…and do you live in the US?
And yes you nailed it, that is exactly what it’s all about. Learning from others and passing on the knowledge when you have it.
I hope I will get the time to do this, but it CAN be difficult to get the time with 3 small kids and my own business and a demanding wife 😆
