Waiting list for Edgun Leshiy – production status

I was advised today by Ed that the production should start in August and he’ll be ready to ship them end of August (providing no manufacturing issues would occur). For instance, there will be no scopes for Leshiy as originally promised.
The delivery set would include the following items:
1. Leshiy airgun.
2. Plastic case.
3. Manual.
4. O-ring sets and filling probe.
Ed also made the following changes comparing to the original design shown at IWA:
1. The gauge is installed to the end of the reservoir.
2. The trigger system is covered by the trigger safe guard and there is no space for dirt to come to the mechanism.
3. The hammer spring is covered and there is no space for dirt to come to the hammer spring.
4. The handle is plastic made. Plastic we use is carbon filled and used in Russian military for making the element of machine gun belts (very tough and light).
5. The inside part of the moderator is made of the same plastic. So, it is cheap and you can take them as many as you need in the future in case the clients destroy it by somehow.
6. New hammer (lighter weight is installed).
7. New valve (more robust) is installed.
8. The piston of the regulator made of stainless steel (makes it more robust and the regulator working smoother).
9. The filling port of covered from the dirt by quick cover.
10. The neodymium magnet is installed to keep the reservoir closed.
There might be additional changes not affecting the performance.

I’d like to ask everyone who’s on my waiting list to confirm their purchasing intentions 🙂

That would put the price in the $1,350-1,550 USD range + packaging & shipping. It’s a neat little gun but it’s a single shot pistol with AR type rear stock/reservoir. Hopefully demand will dictate prices down the road since it’s a bit on the expensive side for a glorified pistol.

I wasn’t going to post here because I feel like this announcement was premature. The last thing EDgun needs is a broken delivery date. I got the same email Tony did, and the preliminary price has been set with that initial email. There are ancillary cost that go into importing guns so the final price is still TBD (at least for me).

I’ve spend an hour on the phone with Ed today we will try to keep the price somewhere in Lelya/Matador Std price range.
Apparently adding a barrel either standard or longer size would add to cost.

This is not a Limited edition gun, I assume it will be for sale as Long as it sells? So then there is the opportunity to wait and watch some Youtube reviews and see if it is Good or not.

I personally have great use for a gun like this. I already have a normal bullpup and what is the point in having two of the same? I will put it to good use, it’s intended use.

…ED is in a business to make money , that is what a business is set up to do , make money that is how they make a living…

Making a living is one thing, ripping off people with a gun that has a plastic valve that will break after a few shots is another…..

But I believe the “bullpub customer” today is much more mature and knows much better how to properly evaluate and classify a gun among the many competitors….

(Sorry but probably the Leshiy is not a bullpub…, so “the general pcp customer” today is much more mature…)

First production generally will be less

True, I saw that with the Impact. It was raised about 115 USD after a couple weeks.

I happily INVEST 100 USD more on a gun that is worth to own instead of WASTING 1500-2000 USD like I did on a Veles and Lelya (actually I wasted also waiting time).

Unfortunately there were no real genuine customer reviews available in order to learn about all the cons before buying…

First production generally will be less , do not expect this gun to be cheap. ED is in a business to make money , that is what a business
is set up to do , make money that is how they make a living. The buyer must decide if the product is what they want and it is worth the
cost to buy it, if not don’t. I’m not saying that this gun is not worth every penny Ed says it is worth , he has put many hours of work into
it, if you want it then buy it. As for me the gun really looks great , however , I do not want another single shot gun . If Ed had made this
gun with a magazine with the ability to shoot more than one shot at a time I would have been more open to it.

The official price will probably depend on the feedback following this announcement.

If some newcomers () start to say “Got to get ’em all” and people start to go crazy like “I need one now, I must have it, can’t miss this shipment, …” then the price will go up but if you show some interest while remaining calm and saying “I want first to know what is in the box and what it is worth and I could eventually also wait for the second run” then probably you will get a reasonable price….

The pricing is up to you, you have control of the game :8:

You know what I do when a new bitch arrives and is always busy because of demand?

I mess with the other bitches I already know and will get the “old new one” later, she will only get better 😀

Additional barrels in 250 and 350 mm as well as 350 mm barrel kits would be available based on the waiting list preferences.

What is the length of the gun folded with 350mm barrel? The length is the barrel plus moderator right? How Long is the moderator?

I know the Price for my country, mind you it is probably different from the States. Not sure it is worth it but still, I’ll be checking out Ed’s videos about the gun for sure. Price of additional barrels aren’t too bad so I would opt for all calibers.

August 2020 will be the actual delivery date

That’s a lot of details except for the price…

What’s the price?

If you’re asking this question, you’re not a serious buyer!
