Walnut stock refinish
I refinished my cricket walnut stock with good results. The stock is originaly “Lacquered” (am i spelling that right? ) Basicaly it has a sort of clear coating on it wich I removed using paint remover. Then I sanded it and at last used Scherrels Schaftol, Premium Gold.

Beautiful job. It reminds me of a fine furniture technique: French Polish. You can still feel the texture of the wood and it’s very resistant to water.

That has to be some of the most beautiful wood I’ve seen on a cricket! Espesially on the fore end of the stock. Great job!
