I originally came in to check out the evanix pistol….too loud, bulky. Talon ss is light and maneuverable….nicely engineered..nd I will wear it to the bone!
Although I’ve owned a handful of airguns in my time, the best being a Sheridan blue streak and a sheridan eb20 pisol, I wanted to check out the precharged pneumatics. To me, this is a new realm in shooting. It was great to see the high dollar stuff like Fx, Air Arms and BSA, and they were fine, but they outpriced me.
I met Dave, the founder of Cobra who very patiently showed me the whole lot. We chatted about different guns, scopes and industry stuff for about 4 hours between other customers coming in. The last thing he showed me was the Talon SS. Then he offered me a test try with the demo out the back door…..SOLD.. so relatively quiet, accurate and packable and $900 and a bunch of stuff later, I walked out the door and I have no regrets.
I would shop there again in a hearbeat when the wallet permits.
Cobra Airguns sounds like a great place. Soon they should have some Wokbutts for their Airforce customers!
I have had many airguns some better and some not as good as the Airforce line. But none of them have been as fun. One thing I appreciate is these guns are not safe queens. They are meant to be shot and shot often

I just got mine from Airhog today. They forgot the plastic molding where you hold to support the gun, but overall, the service was good. Now, if I could just get a chance to go out and do some shooting, I’ll be content.
go with pyramid beacuse right now you buy a talon a ss or condor you get a free co2 adapter wich is worth 98 dollars so you could shoot both co2 and air or a jds tank thats my vote air hog sold me a talon for 400 said it was a demo it was 4 years old had to get sharpshotr28 to put new barrell bushings in it and tank work pyramid my vote

You don’t need no frame extender, it’s a waste of cash and makes the rifle a lot longer than it needs to be. Spend $6 bucks at home depot to keep noise to a minimummmmm: See this stuff I dropped in with now sawing or drilling:
I have been sent two guns from Mac1, a SS a while ago and more recently a talon, both times no problems, for international orders Mac1 is mac daddy.
I’ve ordered from Airhog.com as well. Pyramyd has done me good too, but I wanted to try out Airhog to see how well they test the Talon SS before shipping it to me. I can’t wait to get it! I know that soon those tree rats will be knocked down from the trees in my yard!

I have purchased 4 guns and scopes and all sorts of miselanious products with no problems at all, shipping was prompt and all products were top notch, but today I did have to call PA and also had to wait about 30 min and when sharon did answer she rushed through my question and was even a little snippy, maybe I just caught her on a bad day? Oh well she still sounds hot. Wonder what she looks like….

Oh. Okay. It works fine and all. I really don’t mind that it was shipped with air. It was just strange and sort of bothersome because I thought there would be no air.
