Want to buy
I am wanting to buy a Lelya, and see here that Tony orders them. How do I get a hold of Tony to get on the list for a Lelya? One other question, is the Lelya regulated, if not is there an option for a regulator? Thanks in advance for any help.

Really? No one is going to comment on this statement? I guess its cause the edgun and cricket subjects have been separated. I spent about an hour last night typing a reply to this but my battery died and it was lost. Of course I’m typi g on an iPad so it was only about 15 words total so no big loss.
I’m not trying to be an edgun bashes here but that stamens has no basics in reality. If you haven’t heard of anyone having issues with an edgun, you haven’t be reading much. There are a few well established members on this forum that have publicly stated that they have sold off there edguns and will not be buying another. I may be confused here but I think old goat himself has made a few comments about having to take parts to a machinist to be true-ed up.
As far as hand assembled goes, there isn’t really any other way to do it. Do you think there are million dollar robots putting together all the little tiny pieces inside the cricket? I work for a large jap auto manufacture and we still do most things by hand. There are robots to help lift things and a lot of stuff is made with automation but just about everything iis assembled by human hand. Robots just aren’t practical when it comes to putting things together. If they were, me and my 4000 coworkers would be out of a job tomorrow. I’m sure the cricket factory has been set up much the same way. An automated process will create a part, then a human will take it and fit it to the assembly. The automated part is most likely CNC and other metal forming equipment. Look at the edgun website. Its written all over the place that he is using CNC for most parts now. He brags about it. As well he should, CNC can make great parts.
I am enjoying my edgun and I hope you end up enjoying your but please don’t make it sound like edgun has the market cornered here on quality. I have heard far more people that are pissed off with edgun things than crickets. One thing you just can’t overlook is that the cricket has an awesome dealer. Absolutely everyone I know of that bought from Steve at Wild West has ended up happy.
